New York give your self a pat on the back for the aids walk new york . the walk was a huge success raising 45,000 walkers set a record to raise 5.7 million dollars topping last years walk by 150 million more. with all of this the gmhc still says that there is way more that need to be done. they have agreed that people are living longer with the medication today than in 1984 when the walk first started. the statistics in NY york says that 80% of the people infected with aids is African Americans and Hispanic our Urban community. this is why we try to make this a big deal here at bubble shake. we do it so we can donate to walks like this, this is the number one epidemic that is killing the urban community world wide.
