QUEEN LATIFAH NAMED #1 FEMALE RAPPER OF ALL TIME
Queen Latifah couldn't have a more apt name given to her. It's only fitting that Ms. Dana Owens the Queen ends up #1 female rapper of all time. Queen Latifah is so destined to be the first, her first single was "Ladies First," for crying out loud. What makes Latifah #1 lies in not only her raps, but how big she became with it. No one would thought that this rapper would later become a Grammy Award-winning singer, as well as a SAG and Golden Globe-winning actress. And all of which is owed to her first job, by the way.

MODEL MISS THICK AZZ
Best Ever Ent. presents Big Malcolm Little's Mixtape "Do What U Got To"
While most rappers talk about it, Big Malcolm Little is living it and has been for all of this adult life. Arguably the most lyrical artist of Best Ever, his depiction of street life is so vivid that the listener would have no choice but to realize he is giving them a firsthand account of what actually goes on in the “hood."
Hailing from the Eastside of Chicago, Big Malcolm Little has adopted the birth name of revered human rights activist, Malcolm X. With a definitive presence and an unquestioned intelligence, he is well-suited to carry the name of the former hustler turned minister.
An original member of underground Chicago clique, PCP/Highruallahz, Malcolm has been honing his craft for several years and has the respect of all those who have ever had the opportunity to record with him. His insight on music, politics, and pretty much any general subject are second to none, and he is always willing to share his side of things whether it is in accordance with your views or not.
One to be known not to pull any punches, Big Malcolm Little delivers true-to-life stories that have been missing in hip-hop since the days of Tupac and Notorious B.I.G. It is his mission to bring what was once mainstream back to the listener without compromising the quality of music production that audiences are accustomed to today.
Also known by his God name, Infinite Divine Allah, Malcolm is set to turn the world on it's ear with what some classify as the "best sound coming out of Chicago."

Kid Cudi Fires Shots at Wale
Kid Cudi sat down with Complex magazine for a cover story that began with his explaining his coke habit; he needed the white stuff to provide the energy to "get through" all the interviews and shows he had to do: "Doing bumps was the only way I could get through my day." Sounds like the definition of a drug habit to me, and there's almost no way he's completely kicked it. And then....drum roll please...he proceeded to launch into a rant against Wale after only some minimal prompting:
Complex: Speaking of Wale, when you hit that fan at your show last December, he came out with a line about it ["Throwin' 'round wallets like the dude that Kid Cudi hit," from "Thank You Freestyle"].
KiD CuDi: It was not a shot, just a simple-ass rhyme by a simple-ass rapper. You can not let that shit faze you. That is one of those raps that just shows the world that you wack. Why would you even use that as a metaphor? Everybody think they Hov. N***** don't got the magic like they think they do; there is only a couple of wizards in this game.
Complex: Are your peers not seeing that?
Ok then, so Cudi's decided to shift into battle mode, or at least "wizard" battle mode, and he's apparently trying to drag Kanye in with him. In the immortal words of Rick James, "Cocaine is a hell of a drug." Of course this would all just be an ill-advised rant and not beef is Wale didn't respond...which he did. Right after the Cudi quotes came out we got this from Waleezy:
Well then, it appears it's on like Donkey Kong. Of course this won't morph into full-fledged beef until we start hearing some music, and although I normally try to say out of this kind of foolishness, I can't front, I'd love to see these two go at it. More as the story develops - if it develops.

Kid Cudi: The last album, I let people dis me, throw out those jabs in their verses and have their little slick remarks. This time around, I'm not f**king around. I have no time to think about other n*****. These other motherf****** like feeding off another n****'s energy, so they mention their name. You hear me talk about n*****? I don't even talk about Kanye, and that's my homeboy! They talk about Kanye like they're bosom buddies with this n*****. Talking about "I be in Hawaii"-man shut the f**** up, why you got to tell everybody everything? Then people like Wale get mad that 'Ye ain't give him no beats--- 'Ye ain't give you no beats because we ain't f****** with your raps. It's not a conspiracy theory. We don't f*** with you musically, so we're not going to provide music for you. The s*** is a service, it's a quality of a certain standard. N***** are just so thirsty it's ridiculous. I've been eating humble pie forever, and people still call me an a******. These people don't know my f****** life---now I'm going to give them something to talk about."

JAY-Z SIGNS WILL SMITH 9YR OLD DAUGHTER TO ROC-NATION
I heard the record first, before I knew that it was recorded by a nine year-old," Jay said in an interview with radio host Ryan Seacrest. "I was like, 'Man, that record is a smash.' -- I went to Japan to do some stuff and they were out there and I met Willow and she walked in and the first thing she said was, 'I'm really nervous,' and I thought that maturity, explaining exactly how she was feeling as she was walking in the room, I knew right there she was a star. I believe in super stars and I believe in big records on super stars...Yes, [I signed her and we plan on helping her] facilitate all her ideas. As you're going to learn today, if you sit with her for a half hour, you'll see, she's just a wealth of information and ideas...She's a child, she has child innocence but she has a refreshing clear vision of what she wants to be...And I imagine that's how Mike [Jackson] was as a kid."

50 CENT AND JAY-Z KICK IT BACKSTAGE IN DETROIT
One of Jay Z best friends, Lenny Santiago, took a picture of the Jigga and 50cent talking backstage. The energy in the pic as you can see seem's to be positive, and both were smiling.
It was surprising to all hip-hop fans, considering the fact that since last year, 50 cent has been throwing jabs at Hov in interviews and on songs. Fity declined to say exactly what him and Jay conversed about on Thursday, he did say they didn't have serious beef.
We got a chance to kick it for a minute," 50 said. "I know people were interested in what that conversation was like. But they can ask Jay-Z. I take people's actions as if it's genuinely how they feel. I can only use what I saw you do as if that's what you meant. I can't understand what your motivation was prior to that."
Fif has also had some well-documented issues with Diddy. Ever since Diddy aligned himself with Rick Ross several months ago, the General of the G-Unit has publicly lambasted the leader of Dirty Money. But 50 says a recent talk with Diddy helped clear the air between them.
"I had a conversation with Puffy the night before Jay," the Queens mogul revealed. "He gave me a whole new perspective on his actions. He's like, 'I understand the way you felt because of what I was doing at the time. But I wasn't thinking what you was thinking I was. You done hit me nine times. I'm just in the fetal because I understand why you are attacking me. But if I can't touch bases with you to tell you what I'm thinking or why I did it, then you can't understand it.' We created a little clarity out there."
